“Y20 is an opportunity to articulate and position the demands of young people, in all their diversity, at the center of a transnational discussion. Y20 allows the voices of girls and young women, black people, indigenous people, and many others, to be heard and to have an impact on the construction of national and global proposals, policies and strategies. We are subjects of rights, and a fundamental part of the nations we make up. And we are more than ready to participate in the political, economic and social discussions that impact our lives.”
Daniela is the daughter of parents from Piauí who moved to Brasília 30 years ago, in search of better living conditions, as did a large part of the “northeastern diaspora” that currently resides in the Federal District. He grew up in the city of São Sebastião, one of the outskirts of Brasília, and studied throughout his life in public schools in this territory.
