Among the 13 engagement groups that make up the G20 Social, there is the Youth 20 (Y20), representing the youth, and which, this year, under the Brazilian presidency, decided to take a step forward in the issue of democratizing participation processes: a public selection, considering gender, race and regional representation to elect the five young Brazilians to represent the group in the forum. This is an unprecedented initiative for the Y20, which has been building the G20 since 2010.
