Climate Change, Energy Transition and Sustainable Development

“Y20 represents the opportunity to amplify the voices of youth, so diverse among themselves, on issues that are fundamental to sustainable development in Brazil and the world. We are already and will be affected by the socio-environmental crisis for longer. So, this is a space to discuss and articulate climate adaptation and mitigation policies, environmental education, conservation, fair energy transition and combating environmental racism, contributing with effective analyzes and solutions. In this global discussion, we will have the responsibility to place territories such as favelas, quilombos, indigenous lands and traditional communities at the center, understanding that climate justice is achieved with popular participation, encouragement of science and a lot of political will, without leaving anyone behind.”
